Marcia's interest in acupuncture, as a profession, first arose when she received a tremendous healing while going through a very difficult period in her life.  She came to realize that she was stuck; living in the past or the future but not necessarily in the present.  After a number of acupuncture treatments she learned to live in the present and her life unfolded with new possibilities. She experienced life the way she had as a child.  Every day was a new adventure;  the possibilities were endless.  Everything she learned was new and exciting.  She decided that acupuncture was the most exciting thing she had discovered since her fascination with physics as a young adult.
